Nahua - Food & Packaging Design
Inspired by the rich heritage of the indigenous people from the Valle del Cauca, Colombia, my design for Nahua brings you the Chontaduro cake and jam, wrapped in a story as intricate as the weaving of native baskets.
My packaging concept draws from the ritualistic traditions surrounding the Chontaduro fruit. The story of the indigenous ritual is beautifully narrated through the packaging, its chronology unfolding with each step of the opening process.
The Chontaduro cake features low-relief guides, enhancing the consumer experience by allowing you to complete the story graphically with the jam. This design not only prevents spillage but also ensures optimal and enjoyable consumption.
